MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOUNDATIONS

Course Overview:

A Management System is an integrated framework of policies, processes, and procedures used by an organization to ensure that it can fulfill all the tasks required to achieve its objectives. 

This is a one-day interactive classroom course providing a grounding in the values and methodology of management systems. Topics to be covered include an orientation to the fundamental structures, models, and processes that underpin successful development and implementation of management systems; layers of accountability within the management system framework; and management systems as a profession. 

You will learn to:

  • Communicate objectives and approach of the management system to drive organizational performance

  • Describe key features and benefits of the management system framework and relate it to Return on Investment (ROI)

  • Explain, influence, and educate individuals on the fundamental principles, structures, and requirements of a management system

  • Describe the key accountabilities of positions and individuals with a role in creating and driving adoption of a management system

  • Improve your ability to describe the 10-15 critical processes within a management system

  • Contribute to analysis, discussions, and decisions relating to management systems design and implementation

Who should attend?

Management System Foundations is an introductory course intended for individuals with a role in management system design, implementation, and maintenance, or those looking to strengthen their understanding of management systems.

Laura Zaleschuk is a Senior Strategy & System Advisor at Applied4Sight Ltd.  A key member of the Applied4Sight team, Laura has over 25 years of experience in assessing, developing, and implementing management systems that meet industry standards and regulations in various industries around the world.
